Yes, I do support students using Wikipedia. They have come along way in checking and editing their articles. I was fortunate enough to attend a conference that showed how hard it is to get published and vetted in Wikipedia. They check their details for accuracy better than most 'reliable' sources on the internet, including many online encyclopedias.

This first rotation, we will review rules, computer protocol, fire drills, and get introduced to our new Pixie 3 program.
We are going to have a great year. Please 'Join" the page to get project updates, news, and student work. I will try to post as many creations as I can throughout the year. In addition, I may have a blog up and running so join in on the discussion!

Kindergarten
2nd Grade - We are exploring Ancient China this roation. We will watch a short, yet fact-filled- movie on Brain Pop, then do some fun activities from Brain Pop Jr. I will give you the user name and password if you forget.
In the Search box, put in Ancient China

4th Grade - We continue to work on our Gnoming Through VA project done in FRAMES 4. Make sure you have 2 pictures to represent each region.
